One of the side effects of #journeyToCTA is that the benchmark becomes completely off.
I met so many amazing, smart, hard-working, nice, successful, ambitious, legendary people over the last couple of years. All of them are truly awe-inspiring.
I can admit, it puts a strain on my self-esteem, it feels intimidating.
To use Lilith Van Biesen words:
“We are comparing ourselves not only to other people’s highlights but to those of a set of incredibly motivated, ambitious, and accomplished people. We will always fall short in comparison.”
It’s easy to lose track of what I achieved, and how far I’ve come.
Sometimes there is no easy solution and the only way to make a change is by being open and sharing how you feel.
Or to put it another way: The Imposter syndrome never stops.
